We take your privacy seriously. This privacy notice discloses all of DP Media Group’s (the provider of Congregate) privacy practices. It will notify you of what personally identifiable information is collected from you through our website, how it is used and with whom it may be shared, and the security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information. We don’t give your information to anyone who shouldn’t have it. Period.

I. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you in regard to the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third-party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.

  • Have us delete any data we have about you.

III. Sign Up/Demo Registration/Technical Support

In order to use Congregate as a client or demo user, a user must first complete the sign up/registration form. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address).  If you are a client submitting a technical support ticket, you are also required to give certain information (such as name and email address). We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. This information is used to contact you about the service(s) on our site in which you have expressed interest or support in.

IV. Paid Services

We request information from you when you elect to purchase services from Congregate. To buy from us, you must provide contact information and financial information (such as a credit card number). This information is used for billing purposes and to fund your account. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.

V. Contact Lists

In using Congregate, you can import a list of phone numbers and/or email addresses for the people you wish to include in your member directory. This information will not be shared with any third parties, pursuant to this Privacy Policy, other than our partners who help render our services (see section VIII).

VI. Messages

We reserve the right to review messages sent through Congregate if we have reason to believe that messages are in violation of our Terms of Use Policy.

VII. Cookies

We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in with a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.

We partner with other parties to provide specific services. When one signs up for service, we will share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g., billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Congregate account holders must be 18 years old and older. You can only sign up for service if you are 18 and older. Our website is not meant for children and we will not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
