Every church directory drifts. Phone numbers change, families move, an email address stops working, and nobody notices until the day someone needs to be reached urgently and the number is five years old.

Verification requests fix that in one operation. Congregate sends every member their own information as you currently hold it and asks them to confirm it or correct it. The member does not fill in a blank form, which nobody does. They look at what you have and tell you whether it is right, which takes thirty seconds and is why it works.

Requests can go to family heads only, so a household gets one message covering everyone rather than four separate ones, and the family head can update the whole family at once.
