An SSL connection is included. No certificate needed.

Congregate uses encrypted SSL connections for your public, member, and administrative pages. Data transferred in and/or out of your site is encrypted using our complimentary SSL certificate.

You do not need to purchase or furnish your own SSL certificate.

Our round-the-clock server monitoring ensures your site is safe, secure, and accessible.

2FA (two-factor authentication) built-in.

Choose to have your admins and/or members use 2FA to login to your site. Using this added layer of security, only users who enter a code emailed to their account’s email address will be able to login.

Your data and member information is private.

Passwords, member data, and your entire site is stored in a private, encrypted database with full firewall and cloud protection.

Even when using Congregate for WordPress, user account and information is never stored in a WordPress database and WordPress itself is not used to authenticate a member’s account. All of that happens on our servers for privacy and security purposes.

Congregate does not distribute, sell, or share any information on your site – including member data and your directory – to anyone.
