With subscribable newsfeeds and calendars, members can stay up-to-date with local church and member events. The message center and online directory allow members to find and communicate with one another. Reminders, volunteer positions, and other member-related features included on the system make it easy for members to get involved with their local church family and individual church members.

With CongreGATE’s user-updatable directory, you can ensure your members’ information is always up-to-date. With photo upload support and PDF export for offline viewing and printing, there is no need to manage a separate directory with only semi-annual or scheduled updates. Fully permission-based, you can control what directory information – if any – you allow members to update via their account. The import/export to Excel options make it simple to retrieve and manipulate member data.
Members can even elect to download the entire directory or individual members to their contacts/address book on their cell phone and computer in the vCARD format. CongreGATE also allows members to subscribe to member-only news, calendars, and blogs via RSS and iCAL feeds.
New content is delivered and synced directly to their computer, tablet, or cell phone. Syncing your contacts and calendars makes it easy to stay informed all in one place – the same place you’re already looking for contacts and events.
CongreGATE can automatically remind members of upcoming duties and volunteer positions via text message, email, or phone call*. Never again will members forget about their upcoming responsibility or public worship position. Contacting the member(s) in charge of assignments is easy. If a member is unable to perform their duty, simply reply to the reminder and the designated member(s) are notified.

Members can also elect to receive a weekly summary email. This automated email includes a summary of additions and updates made to the website during the previous week and the upcoming week’s events.
Using the built-in message center, members can send messages (including attachments) to other members, a group of members, or all members if they have the given permissions. CongreGATE offers an unlimited number of member groups/mailing lists and even the ability to text message members.
CongreGATE also offers online storage and file sharing of any file type. Members can access shared files such as class materials, congregational reports and updates, and any other uploaded file.
CongreGATE can keep track of which songs have been led during a worship assembly and display usage and charts for each song, song leader, and songs led during a specific date-range or service. Now it’s easy to see what songs have been led most, led least, and those that have yet to be led.
Song leaders can use the built-in song list creator to choose songs, print their lists, and/or submit the list to the one responsible for preparing the song service or PowerPoint. Non-leaders can use the built-in song request system to request songs they would like leaders to lead during an assembly.
If your local church has a library or resource room, let CongreGATE manage its inventory and keep track of which members are borrowing which items. Members can search and sort the inventory to see if the book, material, or supply they’re looking for is “in stock” and if not, which member has it. Many times borrowers forget they still have borrowed materials and the congregation may never see those materials again. Not any more – never lose track of borrowed resources and who has them.
Share photos with members from various events, gatherings, and fellowships with CongreGATE’s built-in photo galleries. You can create albums, title photos, and provide descriptions. The click-to-enlarge light box feature allows members to view the full-resolution photos and/or save them to their computers.
Uploaded photos and photo albums can only be viewed by authorized church members, so privacy is a non-issue.
CongreGATE Mobile allows members to view public and member-only data right from their mobile device, properly formatted to their screens. View the directory, calendar, news, duty and volunteer lists, and song tracker. Click-to-call support and linking to Google Maps are built-in making it simple to connect to other members.
